STILL LIFE — Part 2

Leveraging Speaking and Thinking

 

 

  1. Ask students sit in circles, ask them to choose numbers, so that each person in the group has a different number from 1-4 (or 5/6 depending on group size). They are to do this in total silence.
  1. Have them get into a Still Life picture and then call out a number. The person with that number steps away from the group and becomes “The Questioner”, who then asks each member of the group each of 3 questions:
      • Who are you?
      • What are you doing? (in the picture)
      • Why?
  1. The student being questioned maintains the body position and answers. The Questioner continues until  all members of the group have answered and then goes back to his/her original position.
