This Professional Development for program for teachers is based on the 6 Secrets of Boys Learning™ developed by Dr. Edmond J. Dixon. To use it, just follow the order of Icons you see on the right hand side of the page. 
As you can see above, the foundational strategies of Movement, Game, and Humor support the more advanced strategies of Challenge, Mastery and Meaning.
Each module of the program follows the same progression:
- Insights – A 6-8 minute video highlighting what neuroscience teaches us about boys and learning.
- Review – A 5 minute fun interactive activity to test your knowledge!
- Strategies – Practical strategies for using the 6 Secrets, with easy to understand step-by-step explanations
- Resources – Videos, downloadable strategy cards, and worksheets ready for use with your students.
The complete program should take you 2-4 hours to complete. You are strongly encouraged to complete all of the modules as each one provides important insights, tools and strategies about a different aspect influencing the way your boys learn best. You will have ongoing access to everything as long as you are a member of our community!
